We found the accommodation very satisfactory and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, particularly our visits to la Marmite. It is likely that we shall want to come again at the same time next year (or, to be more correct, this year!) and I’ll confirm this to you asap.

Please convey to Mr and Mrs Jackson our thanks for a super week at Rose Cottage. We didn't use the 2nd floor bedroom at all, being very happy with just the Ground and 1st Floor facilities.

OK, it rained very day but one, and it was cool and cloudy throughout. However, the purpose of our visit was to see if Val Rive was suitable for two, three or more one-week (or longer) breaks throughout the coming years. The answer is an unresounding "Yes". During the period mid-April to mid-September we would probably go for the sunnier Degas Apartment; in the cooler months we will certainly go for Rose, as it is cosy, warm, very private and ideally suited to the less hot weather.

In summary, we have been aware of Val Rive for about two years but circumstances contrived to prevent an earlier visit. Now that we have been, we shall be revisiting as regularly as we can.

My apologies for the delay in sending this email (the joys of being back at work after a holiday !)...but Barbara and I wanted to convey our thanks to you after our recent stay (Sept 5-12) at the Monet apartment in Val Rive.

We had a superbly relaxing holiday - and were privileged to enjoy bright blue skies and hot sunshine (29 degrees) every day.

The property was superb. Clean, spacious, bright and airy, well-equipped - an absolute pleasure for us to stay in.

We love Lehon and we very much hope and intend to visit (Lehon and Monet) again in the not-too-distant future, and, as we didn't trash the place - hopefully you'll allow us to return ?!
